A Mobile County Alabama sheriff’s deputy faces termination after he was caught buying controlled substances. The employee, who has not been identified, was relieved of his duties after he   purchased controlled substances while off duty.  Mobile County Sheriff Sam Cochran said the deputy was served with a disciplinary notice Monday and will have a hearing today. The investigation is ongoing, and the District Attorney’s Office will decide if criminal charges will be brought.
