The Pensacola man killed in a traffic crash on Wednesday evening at Gulf Beach Highway and Bauer Road has been identified by the Florida Highway Patrol. Troopers say 34-year-old Anthony Mandel Jr., was southbound on Bauer Road, approaching the intersection of Gulf Beach Highway at about 9:10 p.m., when he failed to stop at the stop sign and then tried to turn left onto the highway. His Jeep Cherokee overturned, and Mandel was ejected. A passenger, 24-year-old Kyler Deel, was not injured.
