Hard Freeze, Snow Flurries Expected – SCHOOL AND AREA CLOSINGS

Northwest Florida may see some snow flurries tonight and into the morning hours. The National Weather Service in Mobile, Alabama, says an arctic front from the west should drop temperatures into the mid-to-upper 20s along the coast. Light rain as well as a light dusting of snow, especially farther inland, is possible. As the winds increase the wind chill could be in the 10-15 degree range. The University of West Florida, Pensacola State College and the school districts of both Escambia and Santa Rosa counties have canceled school and all events Wednesday in anticipation of freezing temperatures.
