ALABAMA BOATING FATAL

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Marine Patrol Division says a Pace man died in a boating accident Saturday morning in north Baldwin County Alabama. It happened near the junction of Miflin Lake and the Tensaw River. when a bass boat piloted by Wesley Feely of Atmore, Alabama, collided with the a bass boat piloted by Jackie Cox of Pace.  Both men were ejected into the water, but were wearing life vests. A  passenger, Lee Grandquest, of Semmes, Alabama, was injured. Cox was pronounced dead at the scene. Grandquest was flown to USA Medical Center in Mobile, Alabama. Feely was treated at North Baldwin Infirmary in Bay Minette, Alabama, and released. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
