The Florida Highway Patrol says two people were killed in a single-car weekend traffic crash a few miles north of Blountstown in Jackson County Saturday night. Troopers say 24-year-old Michael Brincefield apparently lost control of his car on State Road 71 near Bob Guilford Road, went off the roadway and hit a tree. His passenger – 19-year-old Kristen Martin, of Marianna, was pronounced dead at the scene and Brincefield died later at Bay Medical Center. Neither person was wearing a seatbelt.
