EGG RECALL

An Indiana egg producer is recalling more than 200 million eggs because of fears of salmonella contamination. Rose Acre Farms said at least 22 people have gotten sick. The potentially infected eggs were sent to stores in Colorado, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia and Florida. Salmonella can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Anyone who recently bought any of these eggs is asked to return them to the store for a full refund.
