According to information just released by the Florida Department of Corrections, a correctional officer was attacked at Century Correctional Institution earlier this month. Inmate Ryan McCullough – who is serving a life sentence for robbery with a deadly weapon – was subdued followed the attack. The officer suffered a minor injury to his arm. The Department of Corrections said the inmate will receive a disciplinary report.
