Santa Rosa County will soon be getting a new emergency room.

A groundbreaking ceremony was held on yesterday in Pace for the Santa Rosa Medical Center. It will be located on Woodbine Road and will have most of the emergency services expected at a big hospital. The new emergency room is expected to open sometime in 2019.
