CONFEDERATE MONUMENT VANDALIZED

Pensacola police say the Confederate Monument in downtown Pensacola was vandalized. Vandals spray-painted “Your Confederate Dead” on one side of the monument and threw a bucket of red paint on another side. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission has identified the woman who died after a collision of two jet skis Saturday night in Santa Rosa Sound. 21-year-old Melly Johannes, of Brandon, Mississippi, was pronounced dead at Baptist Hospital following the crash.
