The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office Ransom Middle School on Kingsfield Road was placed on a brief lockdown Thursday morning due to a written threat that was found in the school. An employee of the Holley-Navarre Water System was fired for intentionally dumping 300 gallons of raw sewage onto the ground near a groundwater monitoring well.
