The former Chief Executive Officer of the Navarre Beach Chamber of Commerce, has been sentenced to five years in an Alabama prison for defrauding an elderly woman and another couple out of $300,000 to pay her own personal debts. HUMAN REMAINS FOUND ON EGLIN

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office says human remains have been found on the Eglin Air Force reservation. A hiker found the scattered remains on Tuesday in an area north of Highway 98 around 5:30 pm near the Okaloosa and Santa Rosa County line.
