STABBER SOUGHT 11-1-16

Escambia County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a suspect in connection with a stabbing Sunday night in Century. It happened at a mobile home on East Pond Street. The victim was transported by LifeFlight to a Pensacaola hospital. The victim’s name has not yet been released. 44-year-old Alfreco Lett is a suspect in the stabbing.…MORE

MONDAY NIGHT SHOOTING 11-1-16

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Department two people were shot last night. Deputies responded to the report of a shooting in the 2400 block of West Maxwell Street around 10:30pm. The names and condition of the victims have not yet been released and the investigation is continuing.MORE

WEEKEND SHOOTING 10-31-16

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Department is investigating fatal shooting that happened last night around 10PM. Details are sketchy, but   deputies responded to a report of a shooting at Pace Boulevard and Hernandez Street. An Escambia County woman, missing since last Saturday, has been found in north Escambia County. A silver alert was issued on Sunday after 83-year-old Shirley Cooey hadn’t been seen by her family in over 24 hours. Family members say it was a miracle that 83-year Shirley Cooey was found alive. Someone is over $233,000 richer after purchasing a winning Florida Lottery Fantasy 5 ticket in Walnut Hill in a North Escambia County.
