TWO MILTON CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS RESIGN

A member of the Milton City Council has resigned unexpectedly, the second Council resignation in a week. George Jordan, who represents Ward 3, resigned verbally to City Manager Randy Jorgenson and City Clerk Dewitt Nobles. ELDERLY EXPLOITATION ARREST

The Pensacola Police Department says a 59-year-old Pensacola woman has been arrested for stealing the savings of a 90-year-old woman with Alzheimer’s disease. Jacqueline Hadden is accused of convincing the elderly woman to write her checks and then accumulating credit card debt in the older woman’s name. FATAL ACCIDENT VICTIM IDENTIFIED

Panama City Beach Police have identified the man who died after he jumped off a Panama City Beach resort with a parachute that failed to open Sunday evening. He was identified as 31-year-old Timothy  Ackerman. Deputies found his body in front of the building near Front Beach Road.MORE

Panama City Beach Police have identified a 31-year-old man who died after he jumped off a Panama City Beach resort with a parachute that didn’t open Sunday evening.
