Pensacola Police say the death of a baby at Pensacola Village Apartments over the weekend is being investigated. Police responded to the apartment complex at 500 East Fairfield Drive around 2:30 p.m. Saturday where they found a 1-year-old boy dead. A man from Georgia has been charged in Federal Court with stealing the two turtle eggs in Gulf Shores, Alabama, last July. Kelly Ard from Social Circle, Georgia, is charged with violating the Federal Endangered Species Act. GAS PRICES STILL DECLINING

Gasoline prices may have their lowest start in the New Year since 2016. In Escambia County, prices have now fallen below $2.00 per gallon at several stations, including $1.97 Friday in Cantonment. FHP DRUG ARREST

The Florida Highway Patrol says a 44-year-old Pensacola man was arrested after troopers found cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana, pills and drug paraphernalia in his vehicle during a traffic stop.
