NEW MOSQUITO IDENTIFIED

A new species of mosquito has been identified in Escambia county. The Escambia County Mosquito Control Division says the Asian bush mosquito can also be found in Santa Rosa, Walton, Okaloosa, Bay and Leon Counties. Alabama State Troopers say an Alabama Army National Guardsman was killed in a traffic crash on I-65 yesterday morning when the military Humvee he was driving went off the road about six miles north of the Atmore exit and overturned. The Florida Department of State has submitted paperwork to draw 19.2 million dollars in federal funding to improve elections cybersecurity.
