WINN-DIXIE BANKRUPT

Southeastern Grocers, the parent company of Winn Dixie has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. The company said it will close 94 under-performing stores, none of which are in Escambia County. The closure list includes 10 stores in Alabama, including Mobile and Monroeville. The company says it will continue to operate 582 stores.MORE

SHERIFF’S BUDGET AGREEMENT
