University of West Florida Police say a student reported an armed robbery Sunday night. There are few details available as yet, but it occurred in front of Martin Hall around 9 p.m. Sunday and some sort of weapon was involved. EARLY VOTING ENDS 11-7-16

Early voting ended Saturday in Escambia County with 56,174 early votes cast. Combined with the 36,598 vote-by-mail ballots, a total of 92,772 votes have been cast in this year’s general election with combined voter turnout currently at 44 percent. FUGITIVE SOUGHT 11-4-16

The Pensacola Police Department is seeking a man who tried to strangle a woman on Tuesday. Responding officers said the woman shot 23-year-old Jaquon Lee.
