The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office says a Navarre man was arrested for possession of child pornography after a search warrant was served at his home. FLORIDA SPANISH-LANGUAGE BALLOTS

A federal judge has ruled that 32 counties in Florida must provide Spanish-language sample ballots for the November general election. SEA TURTLE NESTS WASHED AWAY

At least 27 of the 45 baby sea turtle nests in Gulf Islands National Seashore were lost from the effects of Tropical Storm Gordon. Biologists said the 45 nests extended from from Navarre Beach to Perdido Key and while 27 were lost due to erosion, 17 of those nests experienced over-wash, but weren’t necessarily destroyed.…MORE

SANDESTIN TRIATHLON TO CLOSE 30A

The 32nd Annual Sandestin Triathlon is tomorrow and County Road 30A will be closed intermittently from about 6-9:30 a.m. Saturday from Highway 98 near East Hewett Road to South County Road 83.
