SANTA ROSA COUNTY JAIL INMATE FOUND DEAD
The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Department is investigating after an inmate at the Santa Rosa County Jail was found dead in a cell. Emergency life-saving measures were not successful. ECUA SEWAGE OVERFLOW
The Emerald Coast Utilities Authority says there was a 5,200 gallon sewage overflow on West Roberts Road in Cantonment due to a broken six-inch main that was damaged by a utility contractor. 3,500 gallons were recovered by vacuum truck and transported to an ECUA water reclamation facility for proper disposal and treatment. DRIVER IN FATAL DUI SENTENCED TO PRISON
The man accused of killing a sister and a brother in a DUI crash in Cantonment in 2019 has been sentenced to prison.
