SANTA ROSA COUNTY RECYCLING

Santa Rosa County commissioners have decided to renew their recycling program with the Emerald Coast Utilities Authority despite historic low prices. The U.S. Senate has confirmed a judge from Florida’s 1st District Court of Appeal to serve on the federal bench. 48-year-old T. JACKSON COUNTY DEPUTY ARRESTED

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement says a former Jackson County sheriff’s deputy has been arrested for planting drugs on drivers he pulled over for minor traffic infractions. The Consumer Product Safety Commission says a Maryland company is recalling 180,000 smoke detectors because they may not warn residents of a fire.
