A 47-year-old Pace man was sentenced to 90 months in state prison on Friday after he was found guilty of conspiracy and mail fraud during a two-week jury trial. NEW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL 1-23-17

INTERNATIONAL PAPER EXPLOSION 1-23-17

There was an explosion at the International Paper plant in Cantonment last night around 8:30pm. A black ash-like substance was reported raining down in the area around the plant and Highway 29 was closed. COUNTERFEIT MONEY ARREST 1-20-17

A Pensacola man is facing charges after Florida Highway Patrol Troopers found more than $1,000 worth of counterfeit money in his car. SENTENCES COMMUTED 1-20-17

One of the 330 federal inmates convicted of drug crimes who had their sentences commuted by President Barack Obama, is from Pensacola.  Trenton Copeland, a nonviolent drug offender, received a life sentence without parole in 2011. PUBLIC WORKS GARAGE FIRE 1-20-17
