HIGHWAY 98 REOPENS IN MEXICO BEACH

The Florida Department of Transportation says Highway 98 is open again in Mexico Beach following repairs to fix damage caused by Hurricane Michael last year. BAY BRIDGE CRASH FOLLOW-UP

Police are continuing to investigate a serious two-vehicle traffic crash on  the Pensacola Bay Bridge on Sunday. The Bridge was closed for more than two hours. NEW CELL PHONE DRIVING LAW

A new Florida law banning the use of handheld cell phones while driving in a designated school crossing, school zone, or active work zone area takes effect today. DESTIN SEWAGE SPILL

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection says a spill of an estimated 15,000 to 20,000 gallons of sewage from a lift station off U.S. Highway 98 near the Silver Dunes condominiums in Destin on Saturday may have gone into the stormwater system.
