AUBURN WAR EAGLE RETIRED

Auburn University’s famous golden eagle mascot – Nova – has retired. Nova was War Eagle 7, and a new golden eagle named “Aurea” will be War Eagle 8. The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal stabbing that happened early yesterday morning at Big Lagoon State Park in West Escambia County.
